Mother's Day to Remember

The night before mother's day we went to see our Uncle Robert Tall perform on his organ that was just placed in a seventh-day Adventist church in west Phoenix.  The concert was a lot of fun for Tamara and I.  Uncle John Tall and Aunt Karen, along with Tamara's mom, came to Phoenix to watch their brother.  It's been quite some time since all four of these siblings were together for a photo.

Easter, General Conference, and Spencer's Birthday

The Fuhrimans came for a short visit and it was so much fun to see them!

We went to Makudu's Island with all of the cousins and they ran and played until they got super sweaty!!  Ew!!

For Easter we had Grandma Chamberlain over.  She was able to stay with us for a few days and it was fun having her great spirit around us in our home.  We had Easter morning breakfast out on the patio.  The weather was wonderful and we were able to relax after the Easter Pageant!

Spencer was able to go to Jesterz and see Mallory Everton from Studio C for Conner's Birthday Party.  He had such a great time and said she was hilarious!

We were invited to a concert with a famous country singer, Billie Dean.

Spencer had an awesome 13th birthday with his friends and members in his quorum.  

They played capture-the-flag in the park with glow-sticks.   Great success and injury free!

Mesa Temple Easter Pageant

The Last Supper.  It was such a powerful spirit to re-enact that sacred event.  We would meet few just a few moments before the scene backstage and say a prayer to put us in the correct spirit.  The sacrament has new meaning for me since the pageant.

Ahh....my starring moment...throwing the nets out while fishing before we were called to the apostleship.  There was always a stress of getting the nets caught in the many hooks on the side of the stage.

This is the calling and setting apart of Peter.

This was moments before the Savior appears in the upper room to the apostles.  We are very excited to hear about Him being risen from the dead.

The morning after the pageant was completed, I was able to shave my beard.  I did it in stages taking photos of myself as it was removed.  This is the Hitler phase of what is left of the facial hair.  The final strip was removed and I was back to my old self again!
